EMBR-Dragon

I could hear their voices ringing in my ears, the sound of terror echoing across the land... My heart was pounding, confused eyes searching for a place to hide, a place to escape from the fear blazing around me, away from the blood setting in my fingernails. A woman's voice screeched out, her frightened cries hoarse with the lack of oxygen and cuts in her windpipe. "FIRE!!!!!" she shrieked, just as her house combusted into splintering wood fragments behind her, one going straight through her head. As her blood splashed against the ground, I noticed that ominous shadow again, its darkness swallowing her up with a scarlet sharp-toothed grin.
